It was an exciting night last night as WBO Australian Boxing Champion, Michael Katsidis using our training camp to prepare for his upcoming HBO fight, Michale spared against some of our Muay Thai trainers that are also accomplished boxers including a Rajadamnoen (Bangkok) Boxing and Muay Thai Champion Samart. But the highlight of the sparring session was Michael facing of with Ultimate Fighter and UFC contender from AKA, San Jose, Mike "Quick" Swick. last month, Tiger Muay thai and MMA training camp hosted John Fitch, #2 ranked contender in UFC. Swick and Katsidis went a few ronds and even late at night after raining session for the day was finished. they drew quite a crowd. Mike Swick, the UFC / MMA fighter looked good against the Aussie oxing Champion and both enjoyed the workout.
Mike Swick will also be the master of ceremonies and a judge at the fist ever No Gi MMA/Submission Grappling Tournament to be held in Phuket called called NeverTap Asia and the website can be reached at www.nevertap.asia.
